Once again, South Americans in the finals of footvolley. Perhaps just not what you are thinking! Argentina once again proving their superiority with a decisive win over Brazil and Mexico to conquer the last event of the World Classic from MIami Beach (FL). Regulars on the Pro Footvolley Tour, Mathias ‘Latigo’ Ledesma and Julian Conditi were able to secure another victory over rival national teams. Team Mexico with Julio Vera and Candido Souza upset Brazil’s Thiago Santos & Lucas Paes to advance to the final; but were unable to be the Argentines.

‘When we beat Brazil – our confidence went through the roof. We have beat Argentina in the past. Remember we won in 2019; but today, we simply didn’t have enough to win. Give Julian and Latigo credit’ = Julio Vera (Mexico)

‘Brazil is always the Gold Standard in footvolley; however, the ankle injury really bothered Lucas. We took advantage there; but Argentina were too good defensively today.’ = Candido Souza (Mexico).

In the Mixed Doubles competition, Argentina’s duo of Fiorella Pellegrini and Julian Conditi were able to fend off Brazil’s Lucas Lopes and Leticia Mangabeira. That brought the South American rivals another title.

‘We love facing the Brazilians. It’s their sport. Today was our day!’ – Fiorella Pellegrini for Argentina
