Will Lobato Defends His Title with Another Tour Championship
Team USA’s Will ‘SuperBoy’ Lobato is heading to the World Championships with his head high, full of confidence, and playing his best footvolley.
Once again, he was able to grind out another Tour Championship in front of large crowds on Hollywood Beach, FL.
‘This was a hard one. Battling the flu all week and to win on Sunday is perfect! I’m ready for the World Championships!’
– Will Lobato after the win
An event that saw a lot of surprises – a few names stuck out: Matteo Gasparini and Gabriel Sodre. The newly formed partnership played extremely well.
‘Transitioning from soccer – both as a player and now a coach to a full professional footvolley event is quite something. To be successful is dreamlike.’
– Gasparini on his success on Sunday
