HOLLYWOOD, FL — The 2026 Pro Footvolley Tour – presented by Genius Sports – returns to Hollywood Beach this weekend for Stop 5 of the 2026 season, bringing together one of the deepest professional fields of the year for two days of competition on the sand.

Men’s professional action takes center stage Saturday, with several athletes returning to the Tour following international duty at the Nations Cup in Ocean City, Maryland, July 30–August 2.

Jonathan Silva and Dani Mendonca return after representing Team USA and finishing second in Ocean City. This weekend, however, the national team partners will be on opposite sides of the draw. Silva will team with Rafael “Sasha,” while Mendonca partners with Pedro Lube.

Lucas Paes also returns to Tour competition after representing Brazil in Ocean City. He will partner with Gabriel Pereira.

Brothers Felipe and Gustavo Elias are also back in action, adding even more firepower to an exceptionally deep professional field. Felipe will team with Joao “Big John” Schimming, while Gustavo partners with Gabriel Goncalves.

With national-team players, established Tour veterans and one of the most decorated players in the sport all competing on the same day, Saturday shapes up as one of the strongest fields assembled on the Pro Footvolley Tour this season.

WOMEN & SUPERSTAR MATCHUPS TAKE CENTER STAGE SUNDAY

Professional competition continues Sunday as the women hit the sand.

The women’s field will feature a strong collection of established and emerging athletes, including Melony Poviones, Larissa Eugenio, Hingrid Mendonca, Nathali Novis and Maria Ventura, among others.

But the action won’t stop there.

Following Saturday’s competition, the elite of the elite return for an encore performance Sunday in the Pro Footvolley Tour’s Elite Challenge Series.

Instead of leaving the matchups to chance, the Tour will cherry-pick its biggest stars to create a series of must-see Challenge Games featuring some of the highest-level footvolley fans can see anywhere.

Jonathan Silva, Dani Mendonca, Joao Sonda, and Igor Grossi are among the Tour’s top athletes scheduled to return Sunday for the Elite Challenge Series.

Saturday is about competition. Sunday is about creating dream matchups.

While Saturday’s teams are designed to create a balanced professional tournament through a pre-event player lottery, Sunday throws balance out the window. The Elite Challenge Series is built around one simple idea: put the best with the best — and against the best.

No lottery. No watered-down matchups. Just the cream of the crop going head-to-head.

World-class footvolley.

The weekend continues the Tour’s commitment to showcasing high-level men’s and women’s footvolley while bringing the sport directly to fans on Hollywood Beach.
