2024 Pro Footvolley Tour – presented by Genius Sports – Stop 7 – Olympic Sized Competition
It was billed the ‘greatest ever’ Tour Stop by organizers and it lived up to the hype. The Super Duper SuperStar team of Team USA’s Will ‘SuperBoy’ Lobato and Bruninho Soares (Huntington Beach, CA) didn’t do what everyone expected. They failed to win Stop 7. Instead, the usual suspects reminded the footvolley World of their superiority. Moises Davalos (Astoria, NY) and Victor Martinez (Pompano Beach, FL) once again – defied doubters – and not only beat the ‘SuperStar’ team; but also downed Team USA’s ‘WonderKid’ Jonathan Silva who paired up with Boca Raton’s Lucas ‘the Model’ Paes.
In early group play – Lucas Ramos (16-year old sensation) who stars at Rush Academy for soccer & Lucas Lopes (Boyton Beach, FL) surprised everyone with an undefeated start to their run. They beat both Lobato/Soares and Paes/Silva in group play. Their run ended at the semi-finals.
Paes/Silva who started 0-2 regrouped and made it to the Championship match with more focused play. Martinez/Davalos were too much; however, as they won back to back Tour stops.

On Saturday, Team USA (Silva/Lobato) drew 1-1 with the Tour World All-Stars (Davalos/Soares). The Paraguayan & Brazilian combo won the first game while the Americans finished well in Match 2.
In Mixed Doubles, Team USA’s Kaitlyn Brunworth went 2-0 in her return.
