Jonathan Silva Twice – at Stop 2 – of the 2026 Pro Footvolley Tour

A new format for Pro Footvolley Tour – two tournaments in two days with different partners.
Something different.  Something bold.  The result?  The same = Jonathan Silva remains on top!
The Deerfield Beach, FL native won both tournaments with different partners on consecutive days.

Sat – the Improbable Comeback

Silva going for 2 points in Saturday’s Final with Paes defending

Down 21-9 in the final – Silva (with Fabricio Baronkowski Denver, CO) somehow managed a massive comeback in beating
an impressive Lucas Paes (Boca Raton, FL) & Gabriel Souza (Orlando, FL) .  Silva/Baronkowski began the tournament losing
their first two group stage matches.  They resurrected a slow start to end with an incredible tournament victory.

Saturday’s Super Ladies
In a scorcher – temps reaching the low-90’s – the Tour’s top females competed in ‘Challenge Matches’.
Thamara Moreira, Ana Schardong, Maria Eduarda Souza, Leticia Paes, Fabiola Zanella, and Kaitlyn Brunworth rounded out the competitors.

Sunday Silva Special
On Sunday, once again – coming in as an under-dog – Jonathan Silva wins again.  The formidable team of Pedro Lube (Miami, FL) and Gustavo Elias (Pinheiros, Sao Paulo BR)
easily dismantled opponents in reaching the final.  What happened in the Championship Match once again proved Silva’s superiority.  On paper – Lube/Elias had the advantage
considering Silva’s partner Enzo de Paula (Boca Raton, FL) is a green 19- year old up & comer.  In a tight match, Silva stepped in front of de Paula at 22-21 to receive his partner’s
serve and converted a 2-point Shark Attack.  24-21 ….

Silva delivers the decisive Shark to pull the match away

‘It was a bad serve, I couldn’t have done that.  We kept Jonathan somewhat out of the match; but that service error was critical.’
– Pedro Lube

Indeed it was.  Silva pounced on that opportunity and that was the key play that ended the hopes for Elias/Lube.
